The food is fantastic and the service is always friendly and great. The problem , as usual, are the patrons at the buffet. This visit had a family of 7 with the parents and children aging from infant , toddler , 5, 7,8. The parents just let the 3 older kids loose at the buffet. The dad fixed his plate then told the kids "it's a buffet get what you want" I couldn't believe it. They were too small to reach up and get items so they were reaching as far as they could to get food. Dragging their arms across and scooping up what they could. There was Mac and cheese in the potatoes, potatoes in the gravy etc.. the parents weren't paying any attention , too ignorant to care. Management really needs to put signs up that kids under 12 need to be assisted by parents and hold them accountable. I was really hoping the waitress would see them and say something but she didn't.

If you are looking for fried comfort food, this is your place. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by relics from the past and good ol' southern hospitality. We went for dinner and it hit the spot for us. Hushpuppies, garden salad, chicken fried steak, baked potato and peach cobbler ala mode and the portion size is large enough that we shared all of this between two people. It's local and home style food. Give it a try!
